I have been asked to host the ABC challenge over on the DoCrafts forum, so pleased to be asked. however, not ever hosting anything before I was a little nervous, but everyone over there is sooo lovely. needn't have worried at all. However, this is my contribution to my own challenge 'w' for wedding.

Challenge card

Well it's been a quiet week here, hubby been away on a motorbike week in Cornwall, leaving me and the kids to fend for ourselves lol. Not sure if I was mad to let him go or a saint lol. Either way, he's back safe, and had a good time away from the hum drum of a heavy work load!
This card is for Docrafts ABC Challenge Card 'V' - V for 5, so 5 layers, 5 gems and 5flowers.

New banner & Header

I would like to show off my new header and side banner that has been designed for me my a lovely lady called @ngie (JustAng) on the DC website forum! What a lovely lady for doing this for me and for so many others as well. A true star! Thank you sooo much @ngie! I am getting a little better with all this blogging lark, no expert by any shape or form, but its getting easier each time lol.
Meeting a friend for coffee and taking the mutts for a nice walk this morning, fresh air and a good gossip! Can't beat it for clearing the head! Fished out a Penny Black stamp that I hadn't used in a while to make the next couple of cards. I have realised that I don't have that many stamps, and I am fed up with using the same ones, so I feel a shopping spree coming on with a good crafting friend in tow I think! Can't wait for Ally Pally or the NEC so will have to source a good day out locally.

My word, what a difference with the weather to yesterday, we have had a lot of rain, and still looks gloomy out there! Have a some sad news yesterday and had to make a card, which is not nice to make, but I am very please with how its turned out.

What a glorious day it is! Hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine. Off to the local village festival today with the kids....ice cream and cake Mmmm! Made this card early this morning with a Penny Black stamp that I haven't used in ages!

Made a whole load of cards yesterday, I was on a bit of a role, what with the weather being so nice i sat near the patio doors with them open and the kids played nicely and managed to just get on with crafting. Hoping today is going to be just as nice, I am off to Mum's with the kids for lunch (must be good). here is one of the cards I made yesterday!

keep fit

Up really early again today, was supposed to finish this card last evening but caught up watching telly for a bit, unlike me as I am not a telly freak at all. finished card this morning. Going to the local garden centre today for the last bits and bobs for my hanging baskets, would noramlly have done them before witsun week as we are normally away in the caravan for this week, but this year decided not to go and therefore it has thrown me a little and I am behind with my bedding plants, don't quite know the logic in that lol, but that's how it is! lol.

another dc challenge card, it had to be a square card, with either 4 square of 4 circles on it each with a stamped image. Not overly sure if I like it, and I think I could have added something more to it, but hey ho, I'll get good eventually I hope!

First christmas card

This is my first Christmas card I have made, yes I agree it is very simple ( like me)lol, but I need to do many this year, and needed to make something simple and start early, so I have more time to do the detailed christmas card orders that i will get later on in the year. Looking around for inspiration at the moment, but nothing is hitting the spot at the moment.....

Evening, I haven't posted anything for a while as i seem to have lost my usb lead for my camera, so that last couple of cards that I have made I have taken with my mobile phone, which isn't great I may add!! But anyway this card is for the DC floral challenge....haven't taken part in a DC challenge for a while now, thought i was time to think out of the box again for a change.

90th

this is for a lady who will be celebrating her 90th birthday soon! Had to keep it flat, as it needs to be posted! finding that a lot lately, that I need to make cards that do not cost more to post. Doesn't make the card that interesting if I am honest, but people are not willing to pay extra to post a birthday card on top of purchasing a handmade card.

paper is papermania and stamp is too I remember correctly. I am not very good at remembering where and what make things are, I just love looking at the papers and I am attracted to anything that sparkles!! lol.

baptism

Here is a card for a little boy who is being baptised next weekend. Wanted to keep it simple and not too babyish as he is now 3. A lovely lady from Do Crafts who gave me the inspiration, thank you!

What a lovely day it has been today! Went shopping for some plants for the garden, just love this time of year! Made is this card for my sister from my mum who's birthday is tomorrow! I liked the spring colours from Summertime Designs, and some free stamps that came on the front of a magazine.

Here is another birthday card for a relative who is rather poorly at the moment, so wanted to keep it nice and simple for her! hope you like it!

My youngest started Beavers tonight, he was soooo excited about going and had a really good time! Can't wait for next week!

Woken very early this morning by my girly (dog), wanting to go out and do what dogs do! lol!. Not very happy with her as it was about ten to five!!! Never mind, she is a good girl and we went back to sleep on the sofa for an hour before she started whining for her breakfast. It never stops.......either the kids or the dog! Hoping to make some cards today for my little box of emergency cards. Like to have a few in case I or a friend need one quickly that they have forgotton about. I seem to have lost my mojo over the last few week, but feel it coming back so have vowed to try and keep my new blog up to date with my creations and let you know whats going on.

A Couple of anniversary cards that I made for my mum and dad from my sister and myself. both using my cuttlebug for the main images. I need to invest is some more embossing folders for it as I havent bought any for ages.
